Green Coffee Bean Extract – Chlorogenic Acids Burn the Fat

According to a recent peer-reviewed study conducted at the University of Scranton, green coffee bean extract could very well be the game changer people battling weight loss have been waiting for. In the study, conducted over a 22-week period, the average participant lost about 17 pounds without changing their diet at all.

Who’s Talking About Green Coffee Bean Extract?

On a recent visit to the Dr. Oz show, nutritionist Lindsey Duncan said he usually does not recommend weight loss supplements, but this one has him “really, really excited.” He went on to describe the specifics of the study saying that “The participants in the study took the capsules and did nothing else; they didn’t exercise, they didn’t change their diet, they actually consumed 2400 calories a day and only burned 400. That’s usually weight gain… but they lost over 10% of their total body weight, 16% of their body fat, and had no side effects.”

Dr. Oz, who is known for being skeptical, had some pretty astonishing things to say himself: “You may think magic is make believe, but this little bean has scientists saying that they havefound the weight loss cure for every body type.” He also said that “when turned into a supplement, this miracle pill can burn fat fast for anyone looking to lose weight in a hurry. This is very exciting, and it’s breaking news.”

How Does Green Coffee Bean Extract Work?

For something being described as a miracle, the process green coffee extract uses to help you lose weight is actually quite simple. The beans contain chlorogenic acid. Now, when we drink coffee, normally the beans have been roasted and the acid has been removed. However, when taken as an extract, the chlorogenic acid does a few things that are a big help in weight loss.

Firstly, the acid burns glucose directly, which means that it burns small amounts of fat by itself. Secondly, and more importantly,the acid will also slow the release of sugar into the bloodstream. This sugar typically turns into fat, so slowing its release means less fat.

What are the Side effects of Green Coffee Bean Extract?

As Dr. Duncan said on the Dr. Oz show, one of the most exciting parts of the study is that there was not a single significant side effect experienced. This surprises a lot of people because they assume that the active ingredient in green coffee extract is caffeine, which of course comes with a handful of distracting and sometimes harmful side effects, including addiction. That is not the case. The extract contains an incredibly small amount of caffeine, less than 1/5th of what you would find in your average cup of coffee.

Who Should Use Green Coffee Bean Extract?

Unlike most weight loss solutions, green coffee extract has been shown to be safe and effective for anyone, regardless of current weight or physical health. Whether you have a lot of fat to lose or just want to trim down a few pounds, green coffee bean extract is worth looking at.

    This stuff is wonderful. I’m not going to brag about some fantastic weight loss, but I will say this, in certain situations, I feel like I am inside my old body. I know that sounds wierd, but it’s like the new me fits inside the old me. Clothes feel like someone else’s, in the bath tub, I feel like there is more room around me, etc. I love it. Does anyone know if this can be taken with the Garginia Cambogia or if one is more beneficial than the other for certain body types?

    Jillian, Do people lose lean muscle fat or true unhealthy fat. Cause I wouldn’t want to lose lean muscle fat. This looks like it would not be a good thing.

      Most of the reports show body fat being lost. I can’t find anything regarding muscle loss.

    Nice website! Very clear :)

    I was wondering when you recommend taking Green Coffee Extract? I think the consensus is to take it just before a meal, as chlorogenic acid helps to reduce glucose absorption from the gut. Is this also what you would recommend?

      Yes most of these supplements are better taken on an empty stomach for better absorption. Some are better taken with food, but for this particular supplement it’s best on an empty stomach with plenty of water.

      Many are taking them together, which seems to be fine. I typically recommend taking one at a time so you can isolate how a particular supplement works for you.

    I just ordered this last week, I took it for 3 days, I lost 8 lbs in 3 days. From 205 lbs. to 197 lbs. in only 3 days. I’m estatic but dumbfounded how quickly I’ve lost 8 lbs. It’s a miracle, I’ve been talking about it all day since I got off the scale. And even right now, I feel like I’m burning fat, hard to explain. 8 lbs. in 3 days is unheard of. I feel like I’ve found a miracle from Dr. Oz. I haven’t changed my diet, nor exercised, in fact I ate quite a bit during the 3 days, a foot long sub, even some McDonalds, snacks, crackers, and cheese, I’m just astonished right now, it doesn’t make sense how I was able to lose 8 lbs. not hardly even moving (I’ve sat at my computer for 3 days), and ate what I usually eat, and I’m now 8 lbs less. Absolutely Amazing!! Dumbfounded, it’s very hard for me to even lose 1 lb. and that’s exercising my butt off, did nothing and lost 8 lbs. Thrilled

      That’s a hard question to answer, as each will respond to you differently. Really the best approach is to try one on it’s own so you can be sure which one worked best for your particular body.
